I jammed with Leslie West years ago he helped out my band playing lead with his 1st cousin who was in my band, the beginings of Montain years ago, they were 1 of the BEST & deserve their rightful place in the Music Hall of fame forever

Its pathetic when i see artists like joan jett and others like her who were never a headlining act get in. Leslie was a huge headliner and has never stopped putting records out as well has constantly toured thru the years. He is a living legened... I'd say he deserves it !

I am 63 and as a guitar player at 12 years old, was always a tone freak. Leslie always nailed it perfect. Leslie pioneered the classic rock guitar tone standard.

One of Greatest precusors of heavy metal with some of the most melodic, creative sounds ever, even JIMI loved and respected their music & influence back then.
