What Leslie West did with his signature guitar licks, his use of anticipation, his unequaled vocals deserve recognition by the Hall.
What Mountain did with volume, churning the air into cottage cheese, while playing real music with melodies and dynamics, has not been equaled since. This band was a *huge* influence on generations of rockers and remains in popular rotation today. I'm sure you would have a huge lineup of performers who would be honored to do the induction honors and correct this vintage oversight by the Hall.

Can't believe Mountain is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Can't think of Many Bands that are more Deserving !

If it wasn't for Long Red, Hip Hop would have never found the beat! Early Hip Hop used to track the beat to Long Red to rhythm with. Without Mountain, you would not have Hip Hop! OF COURSE THEY SHOULD BE IN THE HALL OF FAME!!

Leslie West and Mountain definitely belong in the R & R Hall of Fame. Nobody rocked harder than them in the early 70's. Play on brother.
