One of the foremost exponents of heavy rock. He set the standard that was followed by some greats ssuch as Slash Satrianni who have both said Leslie West was a major influence on them.

How can This great band is not in the Hall of fame ! And kiss is ? That is so crazy , mountain was one of the best bands America had , hard rock , Leslie great guitar , Felix no words to describe his greatness,Laing wow , one of the best drummer to ever play , them dudes where great , the Hall of fame is the biggest joke ever , we where going to go and visit it , but no way we’re going with crappy bands that don’t deserve to be there and yet they are , please get your facts right and put one of the greatest bands to ever play ha

They made a tremendous impact and had a singular, driving sound that had a backbone of undeniable talent. The surviving members are still turning on fans live on stage 50 years later. They deserve to be inducted into the RRHOF!

Saw "Mountain" at the East Town Theater in Detroit, Michigan early 70's. Was blown away by Felix's voice.
