I have been a fan of Lebron James since he first came into the league. I remember receiving his first pair of sneakers for his Christmas and that felt like I was on top of the world. Whether Lebron was playing for the Cleveland or Miami I still always gave his team my support. Lebron James has developed into a special athlete, he's the guy I'll be telling my children about when I'm older. He's the face of the NBA. I'm proud of Lebron James for all his accomplishments, numerous all star appearances, numerous mvps, nba titles, finals MVPs and regular season MVPs. We as fans of the game could not ask more from Lebron but maybe we could ask for one more thing the dunk contest. We all have seen the numerous posterizations he has handed out in the league and the videos of him doing dunks in practice making them all seem easy. If he participates in the dunk contest this can be the rebirth of the dunk contest since lately it has plateud. This would be more exciting then Super Bowl 48 (sorry denver) The power of sports media and social media today is a very strong thing and I'm sure ESPN can vouch for me. So it is my goal to dream a little and make this petition go viral. I here ask you to sign asking Lebron James and the NBA to allow him to participate in the dunk contest this Saturday night. I need as many signatures as possible so please help!
