Millions of women today use many different cosmetic lines such as, ’Oreal, Cover Girl, and even a $24 tube of Dior Addict etc. and sadly, these lines are made with Lead and can be harmful and even life threatening. The FDA is proposing to allow led in many cosmetic lines lipsticks and other beauty products that can be harmful to pregnant women, teens, and children. 61 percent of lipsticks contained lead, with levels ranging up to 0.65 parts per million. These trace exposures can cause a diminish in IQ and behavior problems. We have the facts and the proof but now we need to get the word out their to have Lead removed from our beauty products! Please help me, Myricia Amey, make cosmetic lines safe to use again by signing my petition.

This is honestly so scary. I wear lipstick every single day and had no idea it had lead in it. We need to do better.
