Kalae, Like i said, don't hate me for speaking the truth. You don't even know what really happened! Have you heard from KAPA or the owners of the company about this situation? Nope! And you probably will never hear. Why? Because they are professionals in the way they are handling this. Granted firing him over the phone wasn't the right way, but my sister was once laid off via text from another company! Kūehu is a young adult who probably has never been fired before. He obviously needs a reality check! He opened himself up to this by putting it on FB! I get it that we all need to feel wanted and loved. All of you should be encouraging him to move on and learn from this, not be vindictive and wallow in self pity or encourage him to do so. What are we teaching our children and young adults by doing this here? Really, what if you did hear back from the company only to find out he wasn't as unknowing as he says he was? Kūehu I wish you well. Move on! No one is irreplaceable in a company! No one! Remember that in your next job! And remember to be open to critique! Both positive and negative because no matter what you choose to do in life, there will always be both! Kalae, I don't dislike Kūehu! I just think someone needs to tell him the truth!

REALLY? Why would any of you who signed this or even created this think this is the best way to handle this situation? There are always two sides to a story! It's not that easy to just fire someone. Granted I liked Ku'ehu on air! Sometimes ge just talked to much. I may not speak the language fluently but I know enough to know that simetimes over emphasized the words making it hard to listen to, thus I changed the station. My Hawaiian language kumu even said it was unnatural. I am just trying to be really honest here people. Don't hate me for it. Ku'ehu should use this as a stepping stone! But, I honestly from a business owner/manager stand point i feel this is being blown out of proportion and not being handled professionally. I would not rehire him after his FB rants and now this, and if i was another radio station I wouldn't either! On another not. Seriously if he was so miss treated at KAPA, why would he want to go back there? Ku'ehu if you read this, my message to you is, move on! Learn from this and stop dwelling on it. This is all part of life and the things we all must deal with as adults! Stop the pity party and the drama! Again sorry people! But, i feel by doing this you are all babying this guy!!! Don't hate me for speaking what you all know deep down is actually the truth!

I was right there when it happened. Very sad! Ku'ehu is a respectable person to himself and to the people in public. How they went about it and for no reason at all... They stated that his shows were too educational after all kinds of personal attacks. Ku'ehu Mauga is a very EDUCATED young man, why not? I vote for Ku'ehu... Bring him back!!!!!
