if this is kruegs first year of highschool, he should at least have his pc, i could understand how stressful this is for him, and I think it is important that he at least gets a break from his life to enjoy some games with friends that love him.

i myself havent know kruegs for long, but since the day i met him hes been working his ass off to get this pc back. Doing every assignment to the best of his ability. and honestly rewarding him with getting his pc back would be definitely beneficial for his mental state in a good way. so please consider it. enjoy your day.

As good parents, we naturally want our children to do well and succeed in all that they do. This certainly includes their performance in school. However, in my humble opinion, I believe it is far more important that we raise happy, empathetic, and kind people. Honestly, I feel our generation has way too many helicopter parents. We must let these young men make decisions, even if we feel that we wouldn't do the same or that they are making a mistake. As parents, we sometimes forget that our children do not "belong" to us, they are human beings simply pass through us; and our job is to provide them whatever insight we can to guide them. I also believe that any punishment we give should always match the crime. Taking Matthew's pc away does not seem like a suitable punishment for less than stellar performance in school. At this age, taking away something they love does not equate to them doing more school work. Instead, they'll just go to their next choice of hobby, or do nothing at all. I humbly recommend setting strict times that will be dedicated to improving his grades, and potentially using a tutor as necessary. This is only my advice, and hope you don't take offense. Like all advice, take it or leave it. I just know that his friends, including my son, miss talking and playing with him. Thank you for your time.
