A true hero and great ambassador for this game we call football. and to go through what he did attending every funeral for the victims of the hillsbourgh disaster, you can still see the pain etched on his face a true gentleman. we may call him King kenny but sir kenny would fit just fine thanks .

Kenny Dalglish will always be a gentleman no matter what. His tireless dedication, care an thoughtfulness during the early days of Hillsborough took a personal toll on him. He did not have it in him to walk away and he continued to give his active support. He never gave up when justice was so elusive. He is a credit to Liverpool and to football with his enthusiasm and integrity. He is well deserving of this honour.

Kenny ,should have been honoured year ago for everything he did for the city of liverpool after Hillsborough...never mind what he did on the pitch as a player/manager.

One of the greatest footballers of his era. The best footballer at Liverpool F.C but aside from his footballing skills, he & his wife Marina have done wonderful things for charity. Without a doubt, he deserves a knighthood for everything he did for all the families of the 96 football fans that were killed at Hillsborough. He did so much more than anyone expected, including attending funerals & supporting the families.
