I recall sitting in the bleachers with the student section chanting Johnny Newman during basketball games while he cleaned a slippery spot on the court, or ran for more water. The man is a WDHS legend spanning multiple generations. Why isn't he in the Hall of Fame yet?

Johnny Newman is Everything you want. His energy is always up. The score for a football game could be 55-0, but if you watched Johnny on the sideline, you would never know. Always asking you how are you doing champ, in all, we should be calling him champ. So what if he doesn't have the criteria of Five letters for jacket. This guy never ask nothing in return when he does what he does. I won the most hustle award back in 2006, my senior year of football. It was one the best things in my high school career. Want to know why it was the one of the best? Because it was named the Johnny Newman Hustle award. That says something. It may not be the Heisman, but in my eyes, it might as well be. It is also a crying shame that the Football Coach got rid of the award. But all in all, something needs to be done about this. Please Wisconsin Dells High School. Please consider this petition. I am already frustrated with you and antics and hiring, plus don't do anymore to warm your, I mean our name. Thank you for your time

Nobody deserves to be there more than Johnny. Most loyal WDHS fan and supporter I've ever encountered. He'll do anything to help out and see the kids succeed.
