This petition is to remove the so-called sheriffs department from Evergreen, Colorado. These sheriffs do not protect and serves us, they are here to fine us to death. They never walk a beat nor make any effort to meet Evergreen’s citizens and just hide in their overpriced taxpayer funded militarized vehicles, harassing teens and locals preforming illegal stops and demanding identification, writing fraudulent tickets like the one I got for riding my bike with an iPod including 2 points on my driver license. Sign this petition and bring Evergreen back to Town and help rid our town of these extortionists before it's to late.
