I was just watching that speech again and it honestly still gives me chills even with the sound off because it really captures the whole reason we are doing this in the first place. My inbox has been kind of a mess in the best way possible with people sending me their own favorite memories of growing up around here and I am trying to keep up with everyone while brainstorming ways to actually get this in front of him.

I think you and your mom show that being in a single parent household is not a death sentence, but to only love so much more. It would be an honor to meet a living Oscar winner.
This is a great event for the area! It would be great for a hometown guy to come back and see what we have now.
Having you as a judge would inspire so many creative, up & coming actors/actresses and film makers trying to get their start in Shreveport/Bossier. It would be AWESOME!

It's important to not forget your roots once you make it big. Jared and his mother would make a great addition to the festival.
