This is such an important discussion. To me, common sense, that we should be helping people to heal using healthy, healing foods.

My husband spent almost 3 months in the hospital. Nutrition for both of us as I was there so much was a challenge. I truly believe in the healing power of nutrition.

My dad just spent some time in the hospital as he ended his battle with cancer. I was surprised to see the food served to patients. There were also very few healthy options close to the hospital for family to eat at as we spent much time at the hospital in his final days. I would love to see healthy options in the hospitals for patients, staff and visitors.
