People need to have entry-level housing that they can actually own and not be forced to rent for the rest of their life. If not, there will only be more and more homelessness, and we will become another California!

I have been a Chandler resident for nearly 25 years and have brought hundreds of single family homes to South Chandler. With the scarcity of raw land, what is remaining needs to be developed with higher density or intensity. The City needs all types of housing to maintain a sustainable community. Our workforce citizens (teachers, social service workers, etc) should have the opportunity to live in the same city they serve.
The site is perfect for higher density, Ocotillo is a built-out arterial, there is shopping within walking distance, and the site is currently underutilized as ag. land. Please approve this application.
