Ched Evans, a successful football player, was today sentenced to 5 years in prison for "raping" a 19 year-old woman.
This is wrong. Why?
The 19 y/o woman was drunk, and consented to casual sex with Ched Evans and his friend. However, she then decided to claim that they "raped" her - and won her case, sending Ched down and destroying his promising, successful career.
If you ask me, she did it in hopes of claiming compensation from the rich footballer, and perhaps also to avoid being regarded negatively by peers.
This is not the first time such a case has happened, but this kind of situation still needs to be stopped. People are being taken advantage of by others that are irresponsible enough to get themselves deliriously drunk and have sex with them.
Ched Evans does not deserve this verdict. She knew what she was doing.
Let's get him out of prison and STOP using alcohol as an excuse for our mistakes.
The momentum behind this is honestly exhausting to keep up with, yet it proves many people agree that the justice system ignored the facts here. Watching this take hold gives me the energy to keep pushing despite the constant backlash.

Ched Evans WAS WRONGLY convicted and sould definatly get his appeal, get his name cleared and be released from jail, it isunfair to keep an innocent person behind bars. enough said.
