Chad Barber got sentenced to alternative school until January of 2018, just for bringing gas to school to use for his four wheeler when he got home that evening. Mr. Barber has recieved this punishment for during his senior year. He should not have to serve time in alternative school for something that shouldn't even be a problem. Kids receive the same amount of time in alternative school for bringing drugs to school as Chad would for just bringing gasoline to school. I think it is ridiculous how he got in trouble for something that anyone could get out of their car. If you agree with Chadwick being able to come back to school sign this petition to fight for him!! #freechad

The scale of this response is compelling enough to move into the next phase of our plan. I am currently drafting a formal letter to the school board to request an immediate review of the disciplinary policy in place for this case.

Chad why'd you do something so stupid? You could've caught the whole school on fire. WHAT THE FREAK?!?!
i don't even go to jc but you know he don't deserve that mess so imma be there for my boy!
FREE MY MAN CHAD WHO WAS THERE FOR ME WHEN I DID SOMETHING SO TOTALLY STUPID. HE WAS THERE FOR ME AND DIDNT JUDGE ME ONE BIT.
I think he should have found another place to store it than in school. Maybe in a friends car but the way to punish him is not alternative school till January of his senior year. Drugs should get this punishment. Not gasoline.
Bringing gasoline to school? I could go to my truck and get that without any problems.
