Great heart! That’s obviously why he assaulted a minor. When I was growing up, if any parent of a teammate or my parent had assaulted a minor, I would never want them to attend a future event. I’d be embarrassed and ashamed and wouldn’t trust them to manage their actions. Because clearly, they can’t manage their emotions. What a fantastic example Chad is though! It’s so wonderful how many want him to attend even though he committed a crime against a child. Cheers.

And kids deserve to feel safe from the adults at school related function. Someone who assaults minors doesn’t deserve to be able to attend school functions.

Ooh, supporting someone who assaulted a child? Yikes! That says a lot about your character.

He should have considered his sons before he assaulted a minor! Not attending school functions is a very minimal consequence given he should be behind bars!

“An amazing person” who assaulted a minor..yikes! Not the type of person I would claim to be amazing or support in a petition to get back where he could potentially harm more kids. No thanks!

Have your mistakes been assaulting a minor? No? Being an asset doesn’t make you safe to be around kids. He should continue to be banned from attending school functions.

He assaulted a minor. He should be sitting behind bars. Not being able to attend home games is a pretty minor consequence given the situation.

A great guy who assaulted a minor. He should be behind bars. Not the best example to set for his kids or others. He should not be able to attend sporting events or school activities. He should have considered his kids and how his actions would impact them before he put his hands on a child.

He should have considered his sons before he laid hands on a minor. Sorry, he needs to continue to not be able to attend.

Oh right, so people who assault minors should get a free pass because of how much they contribute. Gotta love small towns!

He assaulted a minor and is banned from attending activities in district property. That’s is a very reasonable punishment given he could be sitting in jail.

He committed a crime. He’s assaulted a minor. They are doing the right thing by protecting the kids. You need to open your eyes and stop defending your family member simply because they’re your family. As parents and coaches, we set examples for the kids. That’s not a good role model for them. And if his kids are being “punished” it’s no one’s fault but his own. He should have thought of them before he laid hands on a child. There’s no excuse.

He should have thought about his kids before he assaulted a minor. It’s his fault and no one else’s. He’s lucky he isn’t sitting in jail given the crime he committed.
