Get Cerys on a student exchange!
For many years I have wanted to go on a student exchange, last week my mother told me I may not go on one - specifically I may not go on a 10 month exchange to study in Japan starting next March (March 2016). I believe that with enough support I shall convince her - and see that she would do me a great good by allowing me to go.
Firstly the issue here is not money; I have already stated how much I would contribute and how I would save it initially. The issue is that my mother believes that 10 months is too long; and that I will be too young at the time of departure (I will be 17 years old, as of December 2015). However time is running out, if I do not convince her soon then I will have run out of time to not only sign up to the program, but to ever participate in a program of such.
The program would be safe, organised and taken with MyEducationUK (http://myeducationuk.co.uk/home/) in case any one is concerned I have not thought this through, although my mother disagrees with the idea at the minute, I believe that she can be persuaded but I NEED YOUR HELP! Please sign this petition, and show her that this would be the beneficial and the right thing for me to do!
