Disgraceful! I found a kitten one winter. Unknowingly sent him to Capricorn, when I emailed to see how he was getting on... Nothing! When Rob came to collect him he was abrupt said barely two words wasn't interested in the cat I put him in a box an he was put in the back without even being looked at!! Never bothered with the charity since and seeing this I'm disgusted

as a previous volunteer I can confirm she not only abuses the volunteers but also turned down charitable donations once due to tax. Rang up the college I was in to complain about me, I had done nothing in the wrong, refuse anything to do with her and her "charity"

This is disgusting! Someone needs to make these 2 live in the same condition as they are making them poor animals live in. Hope they burn in hell...

I did volunteer work here for my college course about 2/3 years ago, the conditions they animals were kept in was appauling, the cats blankets and litter trays would be soaking and full of feaces the dogs were all living in their excrements too, there was a room full of clean bedding which could have been provided for these animals but the effort was not made, we were told not to approach the dogs as they could be agressive and only to clean the cat pens, the litter boxes and such were cleaned in the kitchen along with cups etc, their house itself stank of urine they had so many animals cramped in there there was a cat which clearly was very unwell which shiela seemed very attached to which should have been put to sleep however over the time we were there the cat stayed, the birds in the porch were kept in cages which where not big enough at all and in the averys for the owls there were dead rabbits obviously used for food and in the pen next door was a live rabbit which sent me sick. Sheila was rude never really gave us a tour we were left to make our own way and see what needed doing (basically everything) never once saw the dogs being walked or sheila and her regular volunteers actually do any work, this petition should have happened a looong time ago, the place needs shutting down disgusting conditions.

Nasty lady wouldn't trust her with a goldfish

I a few years ago had two dogs form there with no home bust sadly I had to take one back cos of the fact he went for my daughter which at the time was very young she sad fine with cats and small children this was not the case he was living in poo but had no choice but to return him . A few years later we desided to get another one from there as my children were older so we got a lovely little one when looking round the place though it was heart breaking to see how they was living dogs out side cats in one room some with eye infections etc etc so we took this little dog home she said has epilepsy very mild half tablet in morning other half at night so as soon as home he had a fit so thought ok cos of the car drive then had five more over three days took him to my vet sad sorry to nothing can be done he has brain damage and would be a well dog best thing to put him to sleep horrible woman she needs locking up

They also put all their rabbits in the same run and leave them outside. Recently a fix killed them all.

Sheila refused my friends a staffy puppy 3 years ago even though they had no children a garden with 6ft fences around and a lovely home to, her excuse was the house was to close to the main road! It's a lovely cul de sac in Buckley the women is a disgrace and should be ashamed of herself

Even my vets are aware of the carry on there , heard bad things for a long time ,

I live 2 minutes around the corner and can here the dogs Barking all night,my brother lives next door to the place.I dripped in a couple of weeks ago it,s absolutely disgusting the poor dogs were stuck in the cages just standing in pee,I was nearly sick the smell was that bad,the place is filthy and looks like steptoes yard.She used to have loads of volunteers but was horrible to them so they all left.Ive heard she and her son have pinched thousands.

They obviously aren't the right people to run an animal shelter. This is a place that should be safe for these anaimals.

I attended here when I was in college for work experience and I was horrified at what u saw utter disgusting the place was falling apart and too many animals for the area they were cramped no care for the well being of the animals, these beautiful animals should be somewhere, where they will truly be care for and a fighting chance for forever homes.

I've not seen this personally but I have seen photos and read lots of things that I am concerned about.

Something needs to done and fast

If what I'm reading is true may they rot in hell. Poor animals
