Appalling conditions seen on TV just now. Animals need to be looked after properly in a clean environment with good food and plenty of water.

This 'Rescue' should be closed immediately - total NEGLECT of the animals there. As this is a Charity she should NOT be on the payroll. Their Charity status should be withdrawn. Why aren't the RSPCA doing their job?

Sheila you've lost the plot, back down and keep some dignity. You began with good intentions but you can't cope anymore.
So sad for these poor animals.

Once again after this bbc programme Mrs.Stewart thinks it is all about her. Wrong. It is all about the animals and their care. She cannot tell the truth when it is out there for everyone to see

So glad people now know the truth. She's a vile, compulsive liar as are her trustees.

For many years I have donated a substantial amount to Capricorn in the belief that the money was going to really help unfortunate animals have a better life. Not only was I horrified by the revelations seen in the BBC documentary 12th December on how the animals were neglected and the whole sanctuary looked filthy but in talking to people who have visited the sanctuary they told me it is dirty and unkempt. Mrs Stewart obviously did care about animals to found the sanctuary but it is obvious she is no longer able to cope with the day to day running of the place and it now needs to be completely overhauled and run much more efficiently.Mrs Stewart needs to graciously retire or maybe stay on as a volunteer. To see those poor creatures without water and such dirty conditions was heartbreaking and the tiny kittens dying from something which obviously needed vetrinary treatment was disgraceful. PLEASE remove Mrs Stewart and put someone in charge who is efficient, organised but above all caring and compassionate. THANK YOU.

It's curious that the RSPCA can't act to close Capricorn, when they have the statutory powers to do so.

Sheila needs to step down. I volunteered there in the Summer, another worker there would make a much better manager because I can tell that he actually cares about the animals and he was complaining about the mess of everything because of Shiela and he said that he doesn't even want her in the position that she's in. That's when you know she's bad.

This is not animal rescue it's animal torture. £250,000 a year in donations, this appears to be a racquet at the animals expense. Stop it now.
