Such a nasty individual...wouldn't know the truth if it hit her in the face! Vile!

We as a family of young children went to Capricorn & Sheila was extremely rude & sent us packing. We only asked if she had kittens needing a home!!! Isn't that what we were meant to do!!!

I''ve had concerns over how Capricorn is run for years. Problem is always proving what donations are used for, but Sheila has certainly not used the money on the animals

It is absolutely disgusting there! Poor animals.

I rescued a cat from Capricorn around 12 months ago. Within a week he passed away from a contagious infection he cought whilst there. He had been off his food and very sleepy and when this was pointed out to Capricorn to check other cats closer to make sure someone didn't suffer the heartbreak we did... It was completely ignored and we were told it was nothing to do with them. These animals deserve more attention and looking after

Although Sheila has always been fine with me in the past and helped me with neutering vouchers for my foster dogs, things changed when I gave my opinion on the way a rabbit had been treated. I had been trying to help clean and feed the 100 plus rabbits at Capricorn which in my opinion were at best neglected. On occasions there was no food for them at the sanctuary and some without water. I took some rabbit food on the last time I went there. I quickly looked in one of the rabbit colonys holding about 20 rabbits....there was one water bottle for them all! This was empty at lunch time....they didn't see to the rabbits until just before going home. I've had nightmares wondering how many rabbits have died!

If there is this many concerns then it should be looked into as it not fair to any of the animals that are there I hope it does

Seems this mite need checking out. If there is nothing wrong im sure Mrs Stewart will not b concerned!! Hopefully for the animals all will b fine!!

I volunteered for 5 years on and off but in that time the place has got worse, animals in cramped conditions, not cleaned out for days, not fed the right food and some not receiving medical treatment in time and dying in pain when we've told her over and over they need to be seen by a vet and even offered to take the animal to the vet ourselves- stubborn she is- at the animals expense! It's too much for her now- she needs to step down and not ruin the good she has done. Get her out and a manager in!

My fiancee and I used to volunteer but left due to intimidation and bullying and generally a bad feeling about the atmosphere. All we wanted to do was help the animals till they found their furever home. When we both took I'll with anxiety and stress we stopped volunteering. We have rescued several of our furbabies from here and two from another rescue which tbh is the highest star rating one can give in comparison

never liked her she is a very rude obnoctious money grabbing woman and hope she goes to a place and has to sit in her own soil and be left locked in and uncared for
