Full investigation needed just for a start I say then go from there !!

For balance surely it's about time Capricorn was thoroughly investigated for its facilities, management and duty of care to the welfare of the animals who have no voice. It's so sad it's come to this when so many olive branches have been offered. There are plenty of impartial people with the competent skills, passion and understanding to work together and run the centre and turn things around, an investigation would enable that to happen.

I stopped volunteering for Capricorn due to being disgusted by how they care for their animals and how they treat their volunteers and donations .

About time

I have been bullied by both Sheila and Rob and have seen the condition the animals are kept in. I didn't know about yesterdays protest otherwise I would have been there with as many family and friends as I could gather. About time this is done.

I agree with the previous comment. Rob is a bully and should not take over Capricorn. Things will indeed get much worse. I fully support this petition and everything that you do. Well done to everyone who is spending so much of their own unpaid time to finally get things sorted once and for all. About bloody time.

Let's just hope that if Sheila does step down then her horrible son doesn't take over as this will go from bad to worse. He is an incredible bully who thinks he's the big man and has power over people. These protests will get bigger! He only see's pound signs and let's be honest he hasn't many 'real friends' just people who like to use him.

After yesterday seeing all the people outside the shop and getting some infomation off of them this coinsides with everything I have heard of the place including photos I have been shown from my daughter who volunteered here. She was asked to leave and not return to the centre after she raised several concerns about the welfare of the animals.

It broke my heart to see the conditions the animals where in last time I visited to help my mum who was a volunteer clean out the animals. So much so I was disgusted, the smell and state of the poor animals and conditions the volunteers had to work in without the essential equipment apporled me. As a family we grew up around animals owning horses which we kept on farmland and dogs as pets but never had I wittnessed field animals living in such poor conditions, undernourished, never groomed, sodden in mud with not a blade of grass in the field and no hay or feed. I told my mum I'm sorry I can't come back here it's too upsetting something needs to be done about this and my poor mum said yes I know but if I stop coming who will help and feed the animals as it was clear that many of the rabbits and other animals had not been fed and watered for at least a few days probably since she had last visited and if I say anything to the owner she will just have me banned form volunteering (which she did at least a couple of times a week since retiring 8years ago ). Such a sad depressing situation to be in for the animals and volunteers alike. Get this so called animal sanctuary fit for purpose!!!!

I feel very saddened that it has come to this. personally I have no malice towards anyone. the main priority is the animals that have been put in the care of this place

I volunteered there and I was cleaning out the cats when i came across a cat tray with mess with blood in it. I reported it too her and all she said was "yeah it's ok it will pass in a few days" so I asked if the vet has been out and she snapped back "no". I was so worried for the animals after that

I want to give all people involved today a big round of applause. Sheila is a vile woman who should be kicked out and Rob is a bully who hides behind threats.
