Get Capricorn animal rescue 1048511 looked into and founder Sheila Stewart removed.

Having visited this so called rescue centre it's never sat comfortable with me.

I really hope the rumoura are not true, these sorts of serious allegations must be investigated

Sickened by the comments I have just read. This needs investigating either way.

I've visited Capricorn in the past and Sheila was very abrupt and refused to answer questions about the animals I was interested in other than to tell me that they'd been mistreated. The cages were apparently "due to be cleaned" and there were a number of boxes of kittens being held in one room that was pretty smelly. I would like to think her intentions are good, but she has been refusing help for many years.

Always had my suspicisions about this rescue. Heard many tales of poor husbandry over the years.

Should be stoped

After volunteering at Capricorn for 3yrs along with fostering kittens at my own expense the founder was verbally abusive to me to the point I decided not to go into the sanctuary unless I was with a member of the public. On the completion of the final kittens to their new homes I did not return. Capricorn is not a sanctuary it is a concentration camp as the expense of the animals. I will be happy if I never see Mrs Stewart again.

If the allegations are true it should be shut down, hence the need for a thorough investigation. Misappropriation of funds is causing lots of people to stop them from giving donations to charities. Time for action to stamp it out.

Lets hope her and her son are put in a pen and left in their own excrement!! See how they like it!!

I am appalled by the comments that I have read and I have signed this after seeing that a friend of mine who used to volunteer here has signed.

I had a kitten from Capricorn years ago. Poor little thing was riddled in fleas and died after three weeks in my care. Kitten was on a drop at the vets but couldn't be saved.

Whenever we have visited we have been told that the dog pens are getting cleaned soon.we bought a dog off them and were told that it had come from a home with small children. Sadly although we hoped he would become a member of the family we had to return him when he was agressive towards the children and met the last owner whi said that was the reason they also returned it.

Need more people to sign this petition. If I could I'd take all the animals home.

Sooner she goes the better for all the animals. I have family members who have worked there can vouch for this evil woman's behaviour.
