Get Capricorn animal rescue 1048511 looked into and founder Sheila Stewart removed.

We had a puppy from her 8 years ago and we were appalled at her behaviour and total ignorance of keeping animals.

Absolutely Disgusting! I have been to Capricorn where Sheila is based and it is a complete mess! And stinks. The poor animals need removing before more die! Please take away Sheila the Witch!!

She really needs to go. Those dogs all looks petrified and filthy when I went there. Made me cry on the way home

Terrible conditions

Rescued a rabbit from here. Felt like i was rescuing her from a rescue centre. Awful living conditions. Food provided for the animals is low quality and often completely unsuitable resulting in illness.

I've helped by sending food on many occasions with no gratitude whatsoever. I've always found Sheila obnoxious, rude and utterly ungrateful. I was allowed to wander the Kennels unsupervised and they were full of mess it was quite upsetting. I'm shocked it's still going on!

I went to adapt a dog and was allowed to wander around the kennels with no staff or volunteer present. the logs were living in their own foul mess. needless to say I went elsewhere.

Been told she is spending donations on drink and the place is a mess

I've seen the filth and disgusting conditions the animals live in

My daughter and I have been to help on a few occasions and witnessed the conditions that some of the animals have to live in. It is totally unfair that some of them have had a terrible experience that has put them in there and are still neglected in a place where they should be safe and cared for. In the right hands, this could be a great place. Sheila Stewart should step aside and let somebody with the appropriate skills run this place properly

Animals deserve love and care and should not be used to make money and profit whilst being subjected to neglect and misery

My dog got out she chargers me £40 the dog was missing for 20min the place is dirty and and all animals not cared for

This place needs to be closed down. I have volunteered for Capricorn a number of times and have alwasy been disgusted in what goes on there. For starters, volunteers are not supervised while there and no training is given whatsoever. Whenever I have been there it has only ever been volunteers caring for the animals and cleaning them out/feeding them. Now without adequate training it is not going to be done correctly often and then the animals diatery needs are often not met. Also pretty much every single enclosure is absolutely covered in the animals urine and faeces. While I have been there I have NEVER seen Sheila once muck in and provide care for those animals. The enclosures are falling apart and the place relies on volunteers so where does all of the donation money go??? Straight into her pocket. DISGUSTING!! Close the place down.
