Get Capricorn animal rescue 1048511 looked into and founder Sheila Stewart removed.

I am disgusted at the statements I have been reading over the last week. This woman needs to be investigated ASAP before any more poor animals are mistreated or worse die.

I think it is disgraceful and the founder should be replaced with someone who cares for the animals.

I have seen many complaints involving Capricorn Animal Rescue, i will gladly complain about this place too! I was doing volunteer work not that long ago and it was my first time ever going there and helping out with the animals, they are expected to show me what to do and tell me the health and safety policys but no i never had any sort of introduction, all that i had been informed was that i'd be doing the cattery, i am 15 years of age. A part of my volunteer work was cuddling the kittens making sure they were okay as well because they were so young, we found tics on the little kitten, one on the leg, back, ear and the paw aswell, the people who worked there had no idea about it! I also seen a basket ontop of a kittens cage with a tiny tail hanging out of it so i looked in the basket to see if the animal was okay, there was a tiny kitten laying there dead. The RSPCA had been there the day after but they didn't notice the kitten. 3 days later i thought that the kitten would of been moved but no it was still there so i told somebody and they told the person in charge but she had lied and said it had only been there for an hour or so!! I have photographic evidence that there was a kitten there for 3 days but sadly it isn't letting me post any pictures here. After doing the cattery i had to then clean out the rabbit hutches, it was appauling! The food was atleast 4 days old and the newspaper that had been put in the hutches were moldy and the bottles were bone dry! The state that Capricorn animal rescue centre keep their animals in is disgusting, very low standards. Everyday that i would come home from being there all day i would have pins in my shoes, surley that isn't safe for the animals considering its their environment!

This is shocking, these people need to get out now. I've had lots of abuse off this woman and her son almost run me over once. I have also been to Capricorn and soon left again due to the conditions of the animals and the smell, it was like the drains were blocked, it was horrid.

Something needs to be done ASAP

Absolutely appalling! She should be jailed for the cruelty of these animals. RSPCA should take her court!! Idiot.

i cant believe the pics ive seen or stories ive read about this place and the owner. its terrible and she needs to be removed immidiatley! those poor animals :(

Wish id known sooner about what was going on here having transported rescue dogs to them i feel like ive signed there death sentences! What a vile place

There are over 50 volunteers and ex trustees and committee members who want to run this rescue how it should be run. Unfortunately if we step on to the property tp care for the animals Mrs.Stewart and her son call the police and get us removed. Who cares for the welfare of these poor animals - make up your own mind

Have heard dreadfull things about this place it must be closed and poor animals put in safe places
