Sadly this story sounds like more discrimination against a young person with Autism! Families with Autistic children have had enough of the so called 'professionals' who haven't a clue tell us what to do.

Bring Brandon home to his mum, not just for Christmas. Give this family the support they desperately need.

This story may be a little more complex than we know, but no one should be without family especially at Christmas. Do the right thing. Reunite this family so they can share there unconditional love together.

The details in this situation are fairly sketchy as to why Brandon is not living at home with mum in the first place. I don't understand why this young person is not being supported at home under a package of adequate care and support. no one with disabilities should be living away from home if they can be supported in the community, sadly SSD aren't fully understanding what personalisation means and im having a guess that this might be the situation here where some not so bright spark has being unable to think out of the box
