Brandon Reid is a 15 year old boy, who social services called the police to when he didn't want to go back to the home he has to stay in. Brandon wanted to stay with his mum. Social Sevices called the police, and 12 police officers arrived at his mums home and not only completely mishandled the situation, they pinned him to the floor giving him carpet burns on his face and then handcuffed him.
To now add insult to injury, his social worker is saying he can't come home for Christmas! They have told his mum if she wants to see him at Christmas she can go and stay in a hotel !!! Brandon wants to be with and see his family at Christmas - please sign this petition to show your support for Brandon and his family - let's get Brandon home for Christmas

I HAVE BEEN SPENDING EVERY WAKING MOMENT EMAILING OFFICIALS TO ENSURE THEY UNDERSTAND THE TRAUMA BRANDON HAS ALREADY ENDURED!! WE ARE NOT BACKING DOWN UNTIL HE IS SITTING AT HIS OWN DINNER TABLE WITH HIS FAMILY!!

Know this boy personally and can honestly say what the police are saying is all bull! He was never violent! He may get angry and frustrated just like we all do but he is loving and caring and wouldn't hurt a fly! BRING BRANDON HOME!
Sadly this story sounds like more discrimination against a young person with Autism! Families with Autistic children have had enough of the so called 'professionals' who haven't a clue tell us what to do.
Hope you get Brandon back home soon. My own son with autism is also called Brandon & he is the light of my life, so can imagine how you must be feeling. Bring him home x
Social services are supposed to facilitate family life, not work against it. The present government also lauds family values. Do the right thing, act wth compassion and don't just 'do your job'. Especially at Christmas time.
Let Brandon go home he should be with his loving family and friends at Christmas time especially seeing as it's his lovely nephew's first Christmas can never get those memories back let him go home merry Christmas to Brandon and his family

Disgraceful! The boy needs to be at home with his family who love him. 12 police officers Sent to scare a poor innocent boy when there's people out there causing harm to others. Do the right thing!!!
