Its a bloody disgrace that we have to sign a petition to get a medical card back for a child with these conditions. Shame on the HSE and our government for letting this happen

Every Child that receives Domicillary Care Allowance should automatically be entitled to a medical card this already proves the child needs care above and beyond an average child. Good luck fighting for your baby we are all behind you

I can't believe this girl was refused a medical card when clearly she requires one. This is outrageous, I hope this is sorted soon so there is some peace of mind for the family.
