Australia being a part of Eurovision to mark it's 60th Anniversary is great and I am very excited about it but it could be so much more. It could be Bec Hill. Not the strongest opening but let me break it down for you.

Now I know this site is used for important things like changing the world but here me out. Sometimes it's the small things that can make the world a better place. And a bit of fun doesn't really hurt anyone and that is what Eurovision is. A bit of fun that doesn't hurt anyone. Why Bec Hill? No one is more committed to what she does in her comedy then Bec Hill. Even if that thing is realy weird. She understands music and how to put great performances and presentations to music and she's fun and isn't that what Eurovision is? It's fun that doesn't always have to make sense as long as it's really committed to whatever it's doing! That is Bec Hill.

Come on Australia who are you gonna get to do it? Savage Garden? Holly Valance? Craig Mclachlan? Peter Andre? Natalie Imbruglia? Jason Donovan? The other Minogue who isn't Kylie? The Wiggles? Actually that last one isn't bad. But No. Let's get real Australia, you're only doing this once you can do whatever you want. You are straight into the final. Take advantage of the fact that it doesn't matter and go with Bec Hill. You have literally nothing to loose and everything to gain. Sure you could pick a professional musician but where would the show come from? I believe in Bec Hill. I believe that a pun filled joy of a Eurovision song with moving flipcharts and the imagination of Bec Hill with a budget to play with would be a winning move.

Please sign this petition. Yes this may have absolutely no impact on anything but when you think about it this is an online petition. And yes I don't even know who is making this decision for Australia but people power can do marvelous things. You should sign it. You should sign it and get your friends to sign it. You should get your family to sign it. You should get everyone to sign it because we can build bridges. If you think that's a bit random it's the theme of this years Eurovision. Not only can love build a bridge but so can this petition. Also Bec Hill already lives in the UK making it cheaper for Australia. You all know it makes sense.
