After hearing about my niece and her experience in Addie Rawls courtroom I will gladly sign this petition. What a travesty to hear of her disregard for the young children she is sworn to protect. A biological father's right should be contingent on his track record and behavior.

Yesterday this judge awarded visitation to my daughter's abusive ex-husband of their 4 yr old child. The ex has not paid any support since the child was born. My daughter moved back to Iowa 4/2012 to save themselves from a very violent situation. Obviously this judge did not review the prior court case from July 2012 or she would have realized that the father lied in court yesterday when he stated he had never hit my daughter. She definitely needs to be disbarred!!!

Judge Rawls has an amazing history of child endangerment. I have seen two judgements affecting my grandson that have put him in untenable circumstances - unsupervised time with a violent father. This judge has got to go for the safety of our children.

Just had this same sort of experience with her yesterday. Unbelievable what decision she made. My child's father has paid zero child support, has a history of violence against me before, during and after pregnancy of my son, history of alcohol and substance abuse and showed no proof of any change at our hearing. Yet, she granted him substantially more UNSUPERVISED visitation rights.

Children deserve to be protected by adults and when their primary caregivers cannot do that- it is up to our justice system to intervene. Few things are less professional than what has been described as actions of this judge. If you don't have the energy or passion to do your job- let someone else do it. There are lives at stake. Every life matters.

Well folks. Addie is still at it. I sent her a private letter, and she emailed it to my exes NC attorney. He then emailed it to my ex, who emailed it to my child's therapist, who tried to use it against me in court in Vermont. Luckily the judge in VT has not proven herself corrupt as Addie, and did not allow it into evidence.
Boggles the mind how far this woman will go to discredit me, for simply standing up for my rights as a parent. Shame on her.
My child is being put through hell, all because Addie Rawls got her feelings hurt. The family court system in NC must be delved into, Johnston County in particular. Addie is, at the very least unprofessional, and at worst, corrupt.

I had my first encounter with JUDGE Addie Rawls in Oct of 2015. She was very BIAS to me being she knew the family of my children father, a few of his family members attended her church. First and foremost she did my testimony over the phone and she had already taken his testimony before I was called. The reason I couldn't be in court was because my kids father sister put out false harassment charges on me and just so hapen both cases landed on the same day and I had to deal with criminal first I was out on bond.When I tried to explain this to Judge Addie she dismissed it and still procedded to do my testimony over the phone and I told her I was on the way to benson. How you take his testimony without the defendant even being there. How do I know what to defend myself about? How could I show evidence and proof of his lies? He now has visitation and since then my children grades has fallen from honor roll and principle list. I hope this peption finds all the others she did wrong and she reviewd and dis- barred.

In March 2015 I had a motion to modify Custody that was herd in Johnston Co. By judge rawls. This was the the first motion brought back to court scene 2012 with me and my ex having joint custody.. Judge rawls only herd about the last 6 months of occurrences that had been going.. She did not care that the mother of my children dumped my 5 year old deaf son in a school that has curse words on the bathroom walls and I have photos of this as well and is ranked 93.8% the worst school in our state and had him in a day care for 2 years prior to this but kept my 4 year old daughter at home who can hear and is very smart for her age. Judge rawls only cared that I refuse to take my son to this school for multiple good reasons being my son and daughter are only 15 mo apart in age and with the mother of my children being deaf her self and refusing to take out son to UNC Chapel Hill for his Ent and that it was only me who took him to all his appointment were he has been going since 9mo old.. But that the only way my son would have any verbal communication would be with a cochular implant and to with hold my son and start him and his sister at the same time and get my son the help he need first with speech therapy..and the facts that I had to report the mother of my children in to Cps twice once were they had to put in orders for the mother of my children to fallow... Judge rawls cared nothing about any of this and believe me there is a lot more.. And I am doing something about this along with reporting her in to the judicial standards committy and get my case re herd if possible... The amount of corruption in the Johnston Co courts is be believe.. Now to have to deal with 3 weeks after this with judge rawls to give sole custody away for my ex to stalk and Harass every day with photos and prof to file a civil dvpo on me knowing I had no money for a lawyer and had no evidence, prof, and all lies to be granted to her for one year.. The pain is beyond belief to have the love you

Amy, I don't believe she reads much of what is put in front of her. She allowed testimony in my case by someone who is NOT a licensed therapist, and against whom I had charges pending with the NC Board of Nursing. She also would not allow me to enter into evidence proof that this person was lying. I have reached out to the local TV stations here in Mass in the hopes that they might investigate, because the stations in Raleigh were not interested. PErhaps if others reached out, we might be able to get this woman off the bench, and her decisions overturned.

Judge Rawls should be dis-barred. She signed off on an order by Martin Tetreualt that he snuck by her she didn't read fully. The order added additional findings and restrictions that was not agreed on or ordered in court. Additionally Judge Addie Rawls allowed the testimony of a therapist that was on suspension by the NC Family Therapy licensing board Valerie Voncyle Copeland. Therapist Valerie Copeland Collins was currently under investigation for multiple drug charges including possession and multiple intent to sell charges. This was in her previous county of Moore, she also had multiple charges, citations and civil proceedings in her current county of Wake. She was still allowed to testify in Addie Rawls courtroom where her whole testimony was here say.
