i fully agree, and i feel as though it’s a thing that should be changed everywhere in every school. it’s unfair and everyone should be treated equally. we shouldn’t have to live in a misogynistic society where little children are sexualized for having their shoulders showing because it “distracts the boys”. if it’s really that distracting, talk to the boys and make them control themselves. also i have talked to a lot of my guy friends and peers who have all said they don’t find anyone’s anything distracting, nevermind shoulders of all things. it’s just an excuse to sexuality young children who might only be able to afford the things that show a little more than their hands and ankles. we need to work to stop the misogyny so the next generations can live without dealing with what we have to. we can make the change.
