It's pretty sad that an ostensibly civilised society still has members that would condemn the 'alleged' victim when an allged criminal usually enjoys far more public support.

Thank you for this. I was 16, on a date with older guy thinking we were going to movies. He drove into the woods instead. I considered myself lucky as I was still a virgin afterwards. I was lucky he drove me home. I still think about it. I'm 61 years old now.

As a survivor and activist, I send all of you women and all other women around the world my genuine love and support. I know how it feels to be harmed in this way and I know the fear of coming forward. I never did. It's only now years later that I can even say I was raped out loud. Thank-you for your courage. I believe you. All of you. Without hesitation or doubt. I stand with you - we all do. You are better than the acts of violence forced on you. Here's to healing in safe spaces full of love and support.
Love and support go out to these women who have come forward. These women are role models us al that abuse will not be tolerated.

Women who have been raped need to file a police report, as this will help all victims of the same offender may not otherwise have 'proof' of their rape. it doesn't matter if it has been along time. I did this after 35 years and am happy i did, but no one else has reported this sociopath. Do it for yourself and all victims of rape.
