There are women who, like me, decide to keep silent lest the identification of their abusers ruin the lives of these men's wives/partners and children. The protection of innocence/innocents is a formidable motivation in situations where ``nothing good`` would result from coming forward, in any case. My university experience is littered with events of sexual harrassment (from professors and students) which I chose to not report for the usual reasons. I am most grateful for my decision to speak out about my experiences and help other women and men in my situation through group work, personal discussions and the like. I do wish, however, that just once I would have the occasion to face one of my abusers. It would prove a most healing journey. Thank you. My support, thoughts and warmest wishes for peace and healing are with you always. Rosanna

Disgusting the action he has taken against women. A true act of hatred towards the female gender. I pray those women seek the support and help they no doubt require after such horrific acts of blatant cruelty.

I like Jian Ghomeshi despite the propaganda !! We do not have to search in private life of people and I think you have thought it in primary school !!! He is a talented innocent star man.

I always believed you and feel the deep regret of not speaking out, when I knew of the awful things this person has done. I know one of the victims and I vow and challenge everyone to join me, to never ignore the stories or the cries for help. It's the responsibility of everyone as a community to come together and respect one and other. Let us never allow the tears to be shed in silence. Speak out and SPEAK LOUD.
