Seeing this groundswell of enthusiasm for Heyer confirms that so many of us are eager for a shift in the landscape of period drama. It is heartening to realize that the desire for these stories is not just a personal whim but a shared vision for television that feels both fresh and delightfully witty.

Please please make some movies! The talisman ring or black sheep are favourites! But all her novels are witty and fun.
