Simply stated Meade out generaled R.E. Lee, one of the most respected America generals, at Gettysburg. As Philadelphia's own, his statue should be at Philadelphia's landmark City Hall.

McClellan statue at City Hall and Meade in the back of Fairmount Park....what's wrong with this picture??? General Meade was a great soldier who never got credit for what he did in the Civil War. Philadelphia should be proud. MOVE HIS STATUE
