Genesis to release 'The Last Domino' Concert Film
It was no suprise that when it was announced that there would be no concert film for Genesis' final tour 'The Last Domino', there was a sea of disappointed fans from across the globe. Many fans who didn't get the chance to see their beloved band in this tour have now realised that they never will. It's something that had become a standard with Genesis tours, releasing a film of the concert for fans to be able to take home with them and every tour for at least the past 30 years has had that.
Having seen the tour, I know that there is already a complex camera set up to project the band onto the big screens on the stage. Surely it's not too much to ask someone keep the footage they shoot, mix it with the music and release it for everyone to enjoy?
So I urge Genesis to consider doing this. For the sake of all their fans across the globe.

I have been reading through your messages about how much this music shaped your lives and it reminds me exactly why I started this. We know the footage exists because we saw it on the screens during the show. I am currently working on reaching out to the management team to show them this overwhelming tide of interest from the fans.

Seeing this kind of movement confirms I am not the only one haunted by the silence surrounding these final shows. It means the world to know others feel the same deep need to preserve this piece of the band's history.

The Last Tour and no Concert Film. No Way! Please make a BluRay in Dolby Atmos.
For all the fans who couldn't go due to either cost, logistics or both, if there is any way to pull together a DVD, please do. For those of us blessed to be able to see you at least once on this final pass, we would love to relive this titanic, vibrant, thrilling concert with its stunning visuals again and again. Few of us ever believed another tour would happen, but oh, what we all would give to have the memory of it on a DVD.
Such a fantastic show deserves a DVD and CD release, especially for those fans and countries that never got a show. It would make a fitting farewell gift and hopefully it will inspire the band to revisit and start issuing their complete live archive!
It is history; with the many documentaries and videos of Genesis over the years - this would be the final one. The tour really showcases how age and health can be supported when a team comes together.

Some of the footage I've seen from the Last Domino...? shows has been sensational, both visually and audibly. Much more compelling that the 2007 shows. It would be a travesty if this tour wasn't committed to DVD!
