My grandfather always told me about Dumas and his life. We need to remember our heroes properly in the capital.
Il est grand temps de rendre hommage a ce personnage historique oublie par la republique. C est honteux que rien n ait ete fait avant.
History should be fair. General Dumas served France with such bravery and he deserves his place in Paris like everyone else.

Allow me for the english, since my french is only passable. It would be the greatest example of France to the world, in this moment where we seek understanding amongst so many different cultures, to fully recognise the contribution of A-T Dumas to the building of your great nation.
