Anything that improves flow and accessibility in the dental office is a good thing. Allowing general supervision could greatly improve scheduling, management, and care for our Patients.

This would be very beneficial for the patient and the Dentist, allowing for a higher patient flow which icreases the likelihood of efficient preventative care. However, I would suspect the experience level of a Dental Hygienist would play a role in the opportunity for General Supervision. Thank you for your time

I helped establish general supervision for hygienist while on the board of trustees for the Tennessee Dental Asso. Tried to give Miss board the exact wording we had. Tried to explain that the next time they were out for surgery the office could still run. Hardheads wouldn’t listen Thanks Thanks

Hope this passes.. LONG OVERDUE. As this would be an ELECTIVE OPTION for private practices, DDS & DMD can CHOSE to utilize or not.

I came here from Louisiana. Mississippi is way behind the rest of the nation. General supervision is a great thing for dentists and hygienists. I would rather see local anesthesia, but this is all a step in the right direction!

This is a valuable necessity and should be approved instantly. Was able to use this in La and was absolutely worth it. I cannot believe people are against it. They obviously never had used it and should have experience before voicing opinion. We are the one of the last state who already hasn’t approved it.

I am for it but the Dentist will not allow it. They see a money factor here!
