Dearest GM, I am a GM man. I have loved the El Camino since I was old enough to recognize what it was. They are the most extraordinary vehicles that you have ever built. Car/truck......all in one !!! A real working man's vehicle. Where can you go wrong. Please bring them back !!!!????? I would have bought a Aussie made version long ago had I been able to afford the import fees, etc. I would by one, even on reserve if you would just make them here. Forget the Aussies !!! El Camino's belong here in the States !!! USA BORN.....USA MADE !!! LOVE YOU GM. PLEASE MAKE OUR EL CAMINO AGAIN !!!

Had a '77 El Camino. One of the best, most reliable vehicles I ever owned. Would definately buy one if one was available.

I'd buy one if they'd make one. It would be easy to out source the manufacturing. Just ship a chassis back to the B pillar to a shop for conversion like they used to do with convertibles.

A friend and my brother both owned one of various years. I would be thrilled if they brought it back. Give it a mix of new tech with a touch of the mid 70s style. Thank you for allowing us to sign your petition.

I wish they would export the Holden Ute in one of the HSV trims over to the USA before Holden stops manufacturing cars in Australia. Maybe it will sell enough to continue making them over here on the Alpha platform as well :)

The El Camino is like the Cadillac of cars (joke intended)

Maybe since you've axed production of the Australian Holden you could start making El Caminos here (and then exporting them Down under).

I would love for the El Camino to come back. I love the idea of the practicality of a pickup with the stance of an everyday car. Actually am in the market for a car right now, and if the El Camino was on sale I would have it at the top of my shopping list.

I was eyeballing the G8 ST and even submitted names for the naming contest in '07-08. It was Hurricane or Toronado as the GMC sport trucks of late were Typhoon and Syclone before Ford copied with the Lightning. If it comes back as a Chevy or GMC El Camino OR Cabellero will do. 30 G8 ST pilot cars are out there circulating and I saw a white one FS couple years back. Just give us a '16 one sharing SS car production. We KNOW the platform is already crashed tested and smogged. Subaru sold EVERY Ute truck it had on lots within 60 days...the same will happen if El Camino is revived it will be a hit.
