Yes - do it. The 'ute' has never been discontinued by Holden in Oz over the years - and it is still a good seller and is arguably still the backbone of the tradesman workforce. Like the old El Camino's, the 'ute' (old and new) still has a cult following. As well as being a good looking utility vehicle, it can look hot when given a few fashionable and go-faster bits. Rafael - you are a legend! And if they actually do it (low possibility sadly because GM has seen fit to can Australian designed Holdens within 2 years), then they should present you with one - gratis! PS: I agree the Ponty G8 ute would have been a winner - but GM canned the wrong brand; they should have canned Buick instead of Pontiac!

I'd love to see the El Camino come back. It would be interesting if Chevrolet brought the Holden Ute over or built something locally.
