Hm. The old EC's (I owned one) used to be somewhat light in the back. If you were to make this a mid-engine unit with one of the lesser Corvette engines....I think it'd sell!

Granted, they had some ugly generations. But...the 70 454 by far is the best looking Chevy ever made. At one point, GM owned Vauxhall. Vauxhall had the Maloo, a caminoesque car very similar to the Monaro. Why didn't they take this and run with it?

I own an 82 elky, in the process of being restored... the last Caprice Classic wagon/ El Camino would have been my next purchase had GM produced it...
