I would probably buy one as a great cross between a new farm truck and daily drive to work vehicle. Please incorporate some historical look as has been used in todays "muscle" cars.

I've had three. a 67 ss, a 78 and now a 85. The 85 has been completely restored, has 160k miles on and I towed it 60k miles behind my motorhome. Would have purchased one of the G8 bodied one.

Many people want a "small truck" instead of what manufacturers are selling, today, as "mid-size" trucks. The requirements are simple: Decent ~2k lbs towing capacity, a truck bed, option of normal & extended cab, and good gas mileage (~25-30 mpg). A true "urban truck" needs to be created, instead of the "suburban, never going offroad" trucks of today.
