Yes, I'm glad to hear that Pontiac had the platform set! Bringing back the firebird is just reassurance to us that the revamping is underway! Just not stepping out of the box too quick, as new generation didn't stick so well (G8) I feel that competing with the current competitors is the way to go, old school. I would love to see a ELCO sitting with 700 ponies tho, I had to say it.

I have been in love with the el camino since i was a kid! It would be amazing to have a new improved el camino! I would definitely save my money to buy one!!! Thanks Rafael for having the courage and the idea too bring it to light! I never even thought about it! :)

I have been wanting an El Camino for years. Chevy had a prototype on the car show circuit years ago built on the Caprice platform which never made it into production. I have been considering turning a SSR into a tow vehicle for myself but, if Chevy bulit an El Camino again I could just buy a new one. Pick ups are fine but don't have the Elko style.
