In today's society people need a truck that gets the mpg of a car. I think that a El Camino would be the perfect vehicleto fill that niche.

A new El Camino would help to break up the boring sameness that plagues the North American roads

This is a pretty cool story. I'm the happy owner of a 1971 El Camino SS clone with a 400hp small block Chevy and a Muncie 4-spd. I've owned others, including a '68 model, which was probably the best looking Elco ever made. I hope this works, Rafael! Keep up your enthusiasm for older vehicles. You are the future of the hobby!

I drove a 1982 El Camino when I met my wife in college. 'The El Camino' is legendary among my college friends... I miss it - it was a fun car to own and drive. (Full Disclosure: we replaced the not-fun 305 that came in the Conquista edition with a 350 with a high-rise intake, Holley double-pumper 4-barrel, and headers and dual exhaust. needed elevator weights for traction in the bed. :) )
Absolutely something I would love to have... It doesn't have to have all the gadgets new Chevrolet vehicles have, it can just have features like my cruze and I would be happy. Doesn't need to have price tags like most the newer trucks.

I know Chevrolet Philippines didn't bring the El Camino to the country in its existence; well I think it's time Chevy brings back the legendary car not to appease people, but rival other car companies to make their own.
