A great idea! Options with a base engine, an EV option, and an SS version with a normally aspirated V8 would appeal to all segments.

It's Absolutely a great idea!!! I own an original 71' SS 402 El Camino that I'm restoring this very minute..Would love to see how close GM sticks to the original body style.

This demand is more than applicable as my Woman and I have spoken about the virtues of the El Camino and it's beautiful yet utilitarian lines. I thank Mr. Barkan, the young man should be congratulated for this and as for GM and Mrs. Mary Barra, I think you for taking the time to listen to Rafael and the other petition signers.

I was going to buy the G8 ST in 2009.... I still have never purchased a new car because the el camino is the only one I want. I have owned two 1970s, one 1985 and several other car trucks. I promise to buy one. I have been ready and waiting my whole life.

I to myself at the age of 4 fell in love with the el camino. I purchased a 66 in memory of my grandfather whom had an 85 ss. 22 years later I'm still wanting it to come back. It truly makes memories stay alive
