Projects placed on hold and our employer threatening to give a pay cut are our biggest concern. How can we anticipate what the future financial situation will be for our family? Not to mention the cost for remote learning cannot be the same as when our children are learning at the school's facilities.

All GEMS school should reduce minimum of 20% from the tuition fees and all parents should be eligible for that as the whole world is struggling because of this epidemic.

Expecting parents to pay 100% fees and put in all efforts to tutor kids throughout the learning time is not really fair. Teaching empathy to kids at school and showing no empathy to parents at this time is something owners need to look into.Parents are helpless and all they can do is raise it up in platforms like these. GEMS have been making profit throughout, they can be more sensible and help out parents.

There is a fine balance between being fair to your employees and being fair to your customers.
Businesses that are seen to be responsibly cutting both their costs and margins then passing some of the benefit on to their customers during this period of uncertainty will be likely to retain these customers as they come out of it.
Businesses that seek to profit from it will not.
Gems has lost the opportunity to take the lead on this initiative but, as more and more schools are discounting their fees to all parents, it's not too late to do the right thing.
