GEMS EDUCATION FEE REDUCTION

There shouldn’t be any fee pay for term 3 e - learning.

Distance learning is not an alternate to actually schooling but under these circumstances we don't have any other option. Schools need to understand that it adds additional responsibility to parents, Work from home and helping children during class means we need to put extra hours to finish our work, under performance means immediate job lose, Most of us already have salary reductions and no job security. This compromise needs to be made from both parties, If suffering is only on parents end, I can guarantee schools will face bigger loss later once parents are not able to afford at all.

Yes very true! It's really a pain in the ass for kids and more for the parents. The situation now in Distance learning is like us (parents) ordering food from the restaurant, And chef (school) giving us the recipe, we cook with our own ingredients and feed them to our children but we have to pay them in full! We are aware of the current situation but at least we should be compensated for what we paid for, as we are also affected, not only them! They're saying that they have this Relief Goods campaign to avail for the fee schemes of fee reduction and that they will send the application forms. Unfortunately, till date, no application form was sent! When they're supposed to do send then? Maybe this is just a wishful thinking for us parents.

With the current economic situation request for consideration in reduction of fees to 50%.

Please cancel the expenses of the third term, as I teach everything to my son at home, and there is no importance for the class teacher.

I whole heartedly agree with this as my business has come to a stand still as we deal with events and the like and due to the shutdown there isn't anything we can do. This has created a huge burden on finances and is definitely impacting out daily life.

I have 2 kids studying at GEMS school. This pandemic has effected all of us, not just the schools.

GMA school fee is one of highest in UAE under Indian Curriculum. Years on, Parents could support this Fee structure. It is now school to support back to parent during this hardship time
