Cost during such tough situation should be shared among stakeholders i.e School managements as employer, staffs, teachers and parents. Full school fee payment means only parent owe the cost, which is too much unfair treatment. Therefore believe it’s reasonable request.

I'm hoping that Gems should understand the gravity of our current situation, we are only asking for a reduction in fees since school facilities are not currently being used so they will be saving a lot from its daily operations and maintenance.

We too are severely affectes due to the pandemic causing our business to come to a complete standstill. With 2 children attending school it is huge challange financially. We sincerely hooe that GEMS Group will look at thw bigger picture here and open its big heart to their team members - their parents.

It's not only about Corona virus, so don't focus only on means based reduction. It's about who is bearing the costs. Your costs have gone down and ours have gone up. The school is sending us lots of material that we have to print (at our expense) and that we have to teach (our time which is opportunity cost). So if we are also teaching, and your operating cost is going down (building, maintenance, utility bills, sports coaching and facilities), then you should reduce the fees. You've enjoyed profits for decades, now when your cost has gone down, reduce the fees.

We all have to bare a burden in these trying times Ours is a 35 percent wage reduction If Gems is willing to publish their net profit from 2019, I would be willing to listen them

It is not fair to expect the parents to pay the same fees as before especially considering that not everyone is receiving the expected service from online classes and also because unfortunately due to the pandemic any reduction in fees is essential for us to stave of the economic ill effects on us.

I appreciate what the college is doing, but I have taken a 35% pay cut over the last month and I think the schools can look to cuts too. And I don’t mean on teacher’s wages. With no one at the schools they can lock down on ancillary costs

* Situation is bad, salaries are been cut or forced leaves are been enforced. * Parents soon will go back to work. Who will teach small children from home who are Grade 3 and less? Now should we hire someone at home also to support school with our children and also pay school their high fees? * Children are fill day at home and parents have to teach, control and feed them 90%, children are not using any school premise facilities. Why should we pay full the fees to the school? No logic of fully fees payment. I am only hoping that authorities feel our pain as parents than the school authorities who has been running these profitable organizations for years now. Its time they should consider not to make profits this 1 remaining term and provide fees exemption for grade 3 and below child and 50% for the classes above.
