Hello.. I am a parent of a child in British School Madinaty, Egypt
Our children have been staying at home as the Minister of Education has decided no children should go to school since the second week of March 2020, and continue their school year via e-learning tecniques. Onyhe other hand, the school is still requesting EXACTLY the same fees as if all the children are attending classes in their school and benefitting from the premises normally!! They even want more money than every year to enroll our children for the next academic year added to the expenses of the installments of this academic year.
Because of the current situation, many people aren’t working, having salary cuts, or even facing to leave their jobs; and GEMS is ordering this school (BISM) to collect more money than even the normal academic days; which is not just absurd, but quite insulting!

The school is not being considerate at all with the payment plan which clearly indicates that the system given by khda that both parties should comprise doesn’t reflect at all.

Its not ethical to charge full fee when you are overhead is decreasing , plz consider the request for reduction as this will help us financially.
