In these unprecedented times, I find the approach from GEMS atrocious - no empathy towards the heavy-lifting parents are doing or towards the financial hardships many are enduring.
There needs to be more transparency & clear decisive action

It is only fair and a show of good will gesture on the part of the school to give some discount in these troubling times.

I request for fee reduction for my daughter Shreya Rao - OOEHS. Am a single earning member in the family and have been notified of salary reduction effective april'20. I am yet to receive a detail letter frm my company - Al Tayer Group on the exact figures. Once i hav them can share to the school if needed. Thanks in advance for considering the situation and supporting in the critical period.

I've sent several emails to the school requesting for a discount for the 3rd term fees for my 2 siblings, no support yet. I don't qualify for the Covid 19 relief package as I haven't lost my job yet, but definitely worried about the future and gave my explanation to the school.

This is the time for Gems Education to show that they value education, their students and their parents. Show that education is not for money making and it is a noble cause, serving the society and its future.

Fee relief for all equally, no discrimination is acceptable. Do not agree an attempt to exploit parents to extract personal information in the name of COVID- 19.

As per current situation this term fees needs to be reduced atleast flat 30% for all parent. GEMS can give option to the parent if they don't want discount if any. Also all Online live class sessions are not much effective, instead we prefer recorded webinair sessions to reduce the stress both on parents and children.

I totally oppose the means test approach by Gems. We as parents do not asks details of their expenses and cost so they have no right to aks for such confidential information.

It's true that something is better than nothing. However it's not all justified to pay full fees like regular classes. Children are not getting personal attention from teachers, parents have to be around during the eLearning classes especially for the lower grades. For parents of KG students it's even more stressful.

My business is declining week on week. I am just hoping that I get some relief soon. The school asking for bank statements is an invasion of privacy. How can you look at my past 3 months bank statement for the next 3 months of fees. Also we pay this fee for the facilities which are not being used at the moment. Asking for 100% o the fee is not just. This is meeting halfway for both the school and parents and it must reflect on the fee as well.

We are facing Salary cuts.
We are having to put more efforts in ensuring that our wards understand what is being taught. Clearly kids need personal attention from teachers.
Please reduce fee
