We are business owners and are suffering because all our wholesale customers are retail customers closed due to this pandemic. We still have overheads to pay , such as staff salaries and we have to pay suppilers .

We need teachers to simulate the school day with the distance learning not just upload the materials also ,school is not using any of the facilities which has cost like electricity, water and printing why we are required to pay full fees while we dont have full service

A school fee reduction in such times is much requested considering the current situation of every parent where there is work pressure as well as extra time time and patience required to put in individually at work and teaching your children. We do understand that teachers are doing their part with distant learning however charging us in full when parents are doing the work that is needed by the teachers isn’t fair at all. We hope that Gems does understand each parents plea and come to a right decision that’s supports both, us parents as well as the teachers. Thank you

With salaries being reduced drastically, the elearning platform should be charged less than 50 percent as it is just an alternate to education eherein parents have to put in more effort than teachers. Not right to charge full fee.

I am incurring additional costs to support child care at home while I am working and my husband has got in India and not allowed to travel back Sincerely request the management to provide necessary reduction considering that we parents are required to spend more time and money at home which the school was otherwise required to do

I have 2 kids at GIS Al Khail and find it extremely challenging to home-school them as well as work full time myself from home. Our company has started making redundancies and salary adjustments and I feel that with the children physically not in the schools, that the Final Term fees should be discounted. We as parents, the world over are adjusting to a new “normal” as are the teachers and why should our children be affected by this. I appreciate what the teachers are doing, however the school needs to manage their costs effectively, whether through rent negotiations, Government aids etc, not by being so stubborn headed to keep the fees as they are. Really disappointed at the CEO of Gems Education’s attitude to his parents and students well-being.
